Terms & Conditions of Club Registration

By registering with Goulburn Physie I, acting for myself, or parent or legal guardian of the registered child, agree to and will comply with the following:

Participation and Safety

  • Participation in Physical Culture classes run by Goulburn Physie club are at my/our own risk. Any accident or injury incurred at such times is in no way the fault of the teachers, associates or committee members of the club, and are my own responsibility.
  • All care is taken to provide safe classes for our members.
  • All members are required to follow instructions carefully.
  • In the event of an accident or illness I hereby give permission for any necessary medical assistance to be sought and agree to pay all medical fees and expenses incurred.
  • Should a student have an injury of any kind Goulburn Physie teachers will apply basic first aid according to our training. Parents/caregivers will be contacted immediately and appropriate action will be taken.
  • Any existing medical conditions must be disclosed during registration.
  • A doctor’s certificate will be required before participating in classes for serious injuries or conditions.

Fees

  • Club Fees, merchandise orders and competition fees are due in full on the dates provided to you. Please speak with the teacher or committee member if you are having trouble paying your fees on time.
  • Fees are payable whether the class is attended or not.
  • No refunds are given for missed classes or for students who leave Goulburn Physie mid term.
  • Complete the BJP registration and pay the applicable fee before commencing class

Class Attendance/Conduct

  • All children are the responsibility of Goulburn Physie Inc. during their class time ONLY. NOT before and after class, and we are not responsible for siblings and friends who have been dropped off.
  • All children are to be collected from inside the hall.
  • Students should arrive in time to warm up and be ready for class when it begins. Warming up should be done quietly in the back of the hall so as not to distract the class in session.
  • Please speak respectfully. Inappropriate language will not be tolerated.
  • Given we have waiting lists for most of our junior classes, if you do not attend for 3 weeks in a row and do not advise us why you have been absent (illness, travel etc.), we will assume you are not returning to class and will offer your place to the next person on the waiting list.

Dress Code

  • Students must abide by the class dress code at all times when participating in a class, as outlined in our handbook.
  • Performers/competitors must abide by the competition dress code at all times as outlined by BJP, a BJP stamped Leotard must be worn.

Spectator Behaviour

  • Spectators, siblings and family members are expected to behave appropriately at any Goulburn Physie event or class, as well as on social media. Disrespectful or disruptive behaviour will be taken seriously and will not be tolerated.

Social Media/Photographs

  • Photos and videos may occasionally be taken of the students during class time for teaching purposes, or to be used on our website or Facebook page - please advise if you do not wish to have you or your child included in any photos.

All members and parents must abide by all rules and regulations of Goulburn Physie Inc. and BJP as outlined here.
